Seahorse Cell Culture Plates
Seahorse XF cell culture plates are tissue culture treated for optimum adherence and growth of mammalian cells. They are supplied in individual gamma irradiated containers. Pre-coated 96-well and 8-well Poly-D-Lysine cell culture plates are also available for generating more consistent suspension cell data. XF HS Miniplates, compatible only with the XF HS Mini analyzer, enable the use of fewer cells per well delivering best performance when sample is limited.

- Available in a wide range of configurations to accomodate 2D monolayers, 3D spheroids, suspension cells, islets, and isolated mitochondria
- Conforms to ANSI/SLAS Microplate Standards for footprint dimensions and well positions

- Gamma-irradiated for use with live cell culture
- Molded stops prevent the sensor cartridge sleeves from disrupting your cell monolayer
- XF HS miniplate (XF HS Mini analyzer compatible) enables 1/3 fewer cells per well
- Pre-coated Poly-D-Lysine cell culture plates, available in 96-well and 8-well formats, are available for use with XF assays using suspension cell, providing convenience and consistent assay result
- PDL microplates are manufactured in an aseptic facility
- XF Pro M cell culture plates are now available for use with XF Pro analyzer to minimize assay edge effect and improve intra-plate consistency
- Designed specifically for use with Seahorse XF Analyzers.
Automatic measurement of energy metabolism in real time
Agilent Seahorse XF Analyzers measure oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) of live cells in a multi-well plate, interrogating key cellular functions such as mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis. Seahorse XF Analyzers perform compound addition and mixing, label-free analytical detection, and automatic measurement of OCR and ECAR in real time.
