Fred Schwarz joined Agilent in February 2022. He is responsible for leading Agilent's global Strategy and Corporate Development organization, and advising the board of directors and management team on all aspects of enterprise strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining Agilent, he served as a senior member of the Corporate Strategy and Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Before joining Thermo Fisher, Schwarz held senior roles in private equity at New Heritage Capital and strategy consulting at Monitor Deloitte Consulting, where he led investment analysis and strategy development across life sciences, applied, industrial, and diagnostics markets. He began his career in the Corporate Strategy and Development group at United Technologies Corp., a Dow 30 conglomerate now a part of Raytheon Technologies Corp.
Schwarz received his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and received his bachelor's degree with honors from Syracuse University.
