Agilent Technologies has established a company-wide effort to migrate to an automated method of invoice receipt and settlement. For most direct material suppliers, Agilent Technologies has moved to a process called "Evaluated Receipt Settlement" (ERS) to enable on-time payment for you on goods and services received.

Using ERS, Agilent Technologies will create a "Self-Billing Invoice" on your behalf, eliminating the need for suppliers to send Agilent Technologies an invoice. The invoice uses the purchase order (PO) or blanket purchase agreement (BPA) price multiplied by the quantity of the goods received to calculate the amount to be paid. Payments are made regularly against these "self-billing invoices" based upon the agreed upon payment terms.
