Instrument Exchange & Return to Agilent Services

To minimize downtime in your laboratory, Agilent provides rapid, cost-effective alternatives to on-site repair. Whether you choose our Instrument Exchange or Return to Agilent services, we will have your laboratory running again, rapidly and ensure your instruments meet Agilent manufacturing specifications.

For many of our supported modules, both Instrument Exchange and Return to Agilent services are offered as a single, fixed charge. You choose how to pay: On Demand or Contract.

Instrument Exchange Services

For select models, we will exchange your instrument for a remanufactured replacement system, shipped to you immediately.

  • You will receive a replacement instrument certified to Agilent manufacturing specifications, with comprehensive exchange documentation to meet your regulatory-compliance needs.
  • Agilent covers the shipping charges for the exchange instrument and the return of your defective instrument, while also providing packaging that can be recycled and used for the return of the instrument.

Return to Agilent

Trust Agilent to accurately diagnose, repair, and return your original instruments to full functionality, quickly. Just send your instrument to one of our regional Service Centers.

  • Agilent experts will inspect, repair, and calibrate your instrument using genuine Agilent parts and supplies in our ISO 9001-accredited facilities.
  • For many models, Agilent Service Centers offer loaner instruments that may be used while your original instrument is being repaired; further reducing downtime.

Return to Agilent and PM Service Plan
(presently limited to Cell Analysis products

With this plan, Agilent will perform Service Center repairs, as needed, on your Cell Analysis instrument. In addition, Agilent will perform an annual preventive maintenance (PM) in our Service Center. The PM includes a calibration in our controlled laboratory to factory specifications.
