Welcome to the Fragment Analyzer systems eBulletin page! Below you will find the latest information from this quarter's eBulletin as well as information from past editions.

Quality Control of NGS Libraries with Daisy Chain Molecules

The Bioanalyzer, TapeStation, and Fragment Analyzer systems with dedicated high sensitivity assays allow unambiguous detection of daisy chains and accurate sizing of the target library. In this application note, we provide a recommendation for which assay to employ to reliably visualize daisy chain products in NGS libraries.

Reminder regarding the TE Rinse Buffer

The 0.6x TE Rinse Buffer will be discontinued on November 1st, 2020.

Agilent is continuously looking for ways to improve the use of our products and exceed customer expectations, so with that in mind, we have successfully shown that the 0.25x TE Rinse Buffer can be used in all parallel CE reagent kits. This will provide our customers better kit flexibility and a more streamlined instrument operation.

The TE Rinse Buffer supplied with the kit part numbers listed below has changed from 0.6x TE Rinse Buffer to 0.25x TE Rinse Buffer:

  • DNF-473 - Agilent NGS Fragment kit (1-6000 bp)
  • DNF-479 - Agilent NGS Fragment kit (35-6000 bp)
  • DNF-487 - Agilent Genomic DNA kit
  • DNF-492 - Agilent Large Fragment kit
