Product Details
- The 4500 FTIR analyzer for polymer identification is designed to deliver lab-quality results in the field
- Three reflection diamond ATR provides greater path length for more accurate quantitative measurements and lower detection limits, while diamond ensures that the sample does not abrade or otherwise compromise the sensor surface
- Agilent exclusive spectral search algorithm and conditional reporting deliver accurate results for specific polymer formulations
- The polymer identification FTIR analyzer contains pre-installed libraries with the most common plastics and elastomers. Additionally, an expanded polymer FTIR spectra database can be purchased for access to approximately 5,000 spectra in total
- Agilent MicroLab mobile software is highly intuitive and requires little training, featuring push-button methods that enhance ease-of-use and deliver speedy results
- Results are presented in custom report style and offer color-coded alerts to warn users if a sample is out of specification

ATR-FTIR Spectroscopy
Attenuated total reflectance (ATR) is the most widely used sampling methodology for Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. ATR-FTIR quickly and easily measures a broad range of sample types, including liquids, solids, powders, semisolids, and pastes. Learn about how ATR-FTIR works, the different types of ATR sampling accessories available, and their applications.
