IGH/MYC IQFISH Dual Fusion Probe
Dual fusion probes consist of two child probes (3 and 5 probes), each designed to target a given gene and each labeled in a different color (Cy3 and FITC). These probes generate signals in normal cells that are closely matched in size and are separated by more than one signal distance (for example: 2 orange-red signals, 2 green signals). Following a translocation, the signals are co-localized, producing fusion signals (for example: 1 orange-red, 1 green, and 2 fusion signals).
IGH/MYC IQFISH Dual Fusion Probe and corresponding protocol were developed using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, lymph node tissue sections.
