- An affordable multimode microplate reader, Synergy LX is the solution for labs looking for an easy-to-use microplate reader that offers uncompromised performance for UV-Vis absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence assays
- Synergy LX delivers excellent performance for a broad range of applications, including nucleic acid and protein quantification, ELISA, gene expression, and cell viability assays
- Micro-volume quantification with Take3 plates enables direct DNA, RNA, and protein quantification of precious samples, using 2 µL sample volumes. Get rapid results for 16 or to 48 samples at a time, without additional instrumentation
- Continuous UV-Vis wavelength selection from 200 to 999 nm with a broad, filter-free wavelength range for absorbance measurements. Performance in colorimetric and UV applications including nucleic acid and protein quantification, and turbidity measurements
- High performance, high blocking filters for fluorescence and luminescence enable uncompromised performance. High-quality filters with dichroic mirrors efficiently block background noise and provide excellent sensitivity in fluorescent measurements
- The available touch screen configuration offers easy operation and immediate data display for quick set up and operation. The data is displayed immediately after the run and a color gradient helps to easily view the data range
- Gen6 data analysis software delivers walk-up usability for assay setup and data analysis. Convenient prebuilt experiment templates for all detection modes provide a quick start

Absorbance
Absorbance refers to the ability of a substance to absorb light of a specific wavelength. In a microplate reader designed to measure absorbance, a light source illuminates the sample using a specific wavelength, selected by an optical filter or a monochromator.
