Agilent community designs offer one of the most comprehensive microbiome assays on the market. The Agilent PathoChip is a pathogen-focused microarray able to detect and identify thousands of different pathogens in a single experiment. Microarray hybridization-based detection enables fast and sensitive analysis of molecules even in highly complex samples. The PathoChip design allows for the detection of a wide range of pathogens, both novel and known, making it a great research screening tool.
Agilent has not performed verification and validation on these designs.
Here we describe the development of a PathoChip array that detects both DNA and RNA from thousands of viruses and pathogenic microbes using tumor tissues.
