BioSpa 8 automated incubator links Agilent BioTek readers and imagers together with washers and dispensers. This integration provides a full workflow automation of up to 8 microplates or other labware. BioSpa 8 can automate your workflows, from ELISA to long-term live cell assays.
Temperature, CO2/O2 control, humidity monitoring, and lid handling ensure an ideal environment for cell cultures. BioSpa software records session timelines and environmental conditions and sends text and email alerts during long and short-term runs. Link a washer, dispenser, plate reader, or imager for complete workflow automation.

- Automate workflows from sample preparation to detection. Operation scheduled in the software can run for days or weeks. Up to 8 microplates are processed while unattended, saving time in your laboratory.
- Critical physiological conditions are controlled and maintained to ensure assay success. Temperature and CO2/O2 control, and humidity monitoring facilitate live cell processes. BioSpa software continuously records the environment conditions.
- The software records system and environmental conditions throughout the run. Customizable notifications allow you to walk away from the process with confidence. OnDemand mode provides simple, efficient imaging or detection protocol creation.
- OnDemand mode allows labware to be added or removed without interrupting operations in process, for workflow flexibility. Multiple users can be defined in the system and can visually track their unique experiment in progress.
- Small footprint saves benchtop space and fits easily into optional biosafety enclosure if necessary.
- User-friendly software and simple integration with Gen5 and LHC software enable easy operation. Intuitive scheduling process saves time when implementing short and long-term applications.
