Peltier cooling for environmental stability
The Peltier Cooling Module promotes rapid interior cool down after incubated processes, allowing efficient switching between multiple applications without unwanted temperature changes. For sensitive assays run at room temperature, the Cooling Module maintains environmental stability within Cytation at < 1 °C change.
Learn MoreHybrid plate reader: Flexibility and performance
With its patented combination of monochromator and filter optics, Cytation 5 is an advanced plate reader that delivers both the flexibility and performance you need for any microplate assay in your lab. Monochromator: variable bandwidth, absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence Filters: fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, Alpha laser.
Learn MoreProprietary Laser Autofocus
Laser autofocus and image-based (or software-based) autofocus are two methods of autofocus widely used in microscopy.
Learn MoreHybrid plate reader: Flexibility and performance
With a patented combination of monochromator and filter optics, Synergy Neo2 an advanced plate reader delivering flexibility and performance for any microplate assay. Monochromator: variable bandwidth, absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence Filters: fluorescence polarization, time-resolved fluorescence, Alpha laser.
Learn MoreTime-resolved fluorescence
Time-resolved fluorescence (TRF) measurement is very similar to fluorescence intensity (FI) measurement. The only difference is the timing of the excitation / measurement process.
Learn MoreTR-FRET
Time-resolved fluorescence energy transfer (TR-FRET) works on the principles that when suitable pairs of fluorophores are in close proximity of one another, excitation of a lanthanide donor fluorophore results in energy transfer to an acceptor fluorophore.
Learn MoreCell Counting
Accurate cell counting is a critical step across a spectrum of cell biology applications. Direct cell counting uses methods that identify and enumerate individual cells, as opposed to indirect methods that estimate population sizes using biochemical methods.
Learn MoreObject Tracking
With the incorporation of the object tracking module, available within Agilent BioTek Gen5 software for imaging and microscopy, this can be easily accomplished in a fully automated fashion.
Learn MoreAutomatic Region of Interest Identification
This process enables walk-away slide scanning for four or more slides, if combined with Agilent automation offerings, and can be used with the Agilent BioTek Lionheart automated microscopes and Agilent BioTek Cytation imaging multimode readers.
Learn MoreSpot Counting
The spot counting module available in Agilent BioTek Gen5 software enables the number of spots counted, and other information, to be tied to the original primary mask data, allowing these values to be known for each object initially identified in the image.
Learn MoreAugmented Microscopy
Agilent BioTek instrumentation and software create the unique augmented microscopy experience with the integration and automation of all steps from image capture to publication-ready data.
