Replacement long life platinum shield-plates and quartz bonnets are available. They enable cool plasma mode for the lowest backgrounds for ultratrace determination of K, Ca and Fe. STS also controls the ion energy spread of polyatomic ions that enter the ORS cell for successful interference removal.
