Q:  What has happened?

On August 1, 2016, Agilent Technologies completed the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of iLab Solutions LLC, an innovator and market leader in Software as a Service (SaaS), cloud-based solutions for core laboratory management. Agilent acquired iLab’s technology, intellectual property and product portfolio, as well as employee talent.

Q: What changes have occurred?

Beginning February 2017, we will use the moniker iLab Operations Software to describe the iLab business unit within Agilent CrossLab Group. We will maintain our offerings in two product lines: Core Facility Management Software and Materials Management Software.

With this change, you will begin to see the Agilent CrossLab wordmark replace the iLab Solutions logo.

The iLab team and organizational structure has moved over to Agilent and will continue to function in a similar capacity. Technical and business escalations should be directed to your existing iLab account management team.

Should you have any questions about these changes, feel free to send an email to our new general address: ilab-info@agilent.com. You may also reach out to your usual iLab team contacts (Account Managers, Project Managers, and iLab leadership team) to help address additional questions.

You will continue to work directly with the same people with whom you have been working, although you may have noticed your usual iLab contacts email addresses have changed to an agilent.com address. The old emails will continue to forward for a period of time, but we recommend you start adding your iLab contacts’ agilent email addresses to your address book.

Your vendor management or Accounts Payable systems will need to be updated to reflect the changes in banking information required for remittance purposes. Please contact your iLab representative for specific banking and tax information.
