Agilent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that for the fifth year in a row, the company has been named the industry leader in the Life Sciences Tools and Services category of the 2019 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI).

The DJSI is in its 20th year providing investors, companies and others with information on corporate performance across a range of environmental, economic and social issues. The index is a joint venture between S&P Dow Jones Indices and RobecoSAM, a leader in sustainability ratings.
In 2019, more than 3,500 companies across 61 industries were invited to participate in a corporate sustainability assessment, tracking their performance in codes of business conduct, supply chain management, innovation management, corporate governance, operational eco-efficiency, environmental reporting, climate strategy, talent attraction and retention, and human capital development. Agilent's total score in the Life Sciences Tools and Services industry was more than double the average for the industry.
