Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) and Insight Experience, a leading provider of simulation-based leadership development programs, announced today that they have received a coveted Brandon Hall Group Bronze Award for Excellence in the Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program category.
Agilent's Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) was developed in conjunction with Insight Experience to accelerate the readiness of selected Agilent employees for senior leadership positions across Agilent. Insight Experience's unique business simulation tool jumpstarts the eight-month-long program, and focuses on developing strategic thinking and team building skills. Participants utilize these skills throughout the program as they partake in a number of strategic business projects. The program combines assessments, coaching, and community-based activities; along with collaborative technologies and active executive involvement, to create a meaningful program for participants and their managers.
"At Agilent, we are committed to the development of our employees," said Erica Wright, Agilent's HR vice president of Global Talent. "We are very proud of the Emerging Leaders Program and pleased that the Brandon Hall Group has recognized this program. The ELP is a truly unique program offering unparalleled training opportunities to the next generation of leaders for our company."
"Excellence Award winners symbolize the power and impact that human capital management practices can have on a business or any organization," said Rachel Cooke, chief operating officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program. "Many organizations can have great HCM initiatives, but the standard of excellence only applies for organizations whose HCM practices truly benefit the business. That's what the Excellence Awards program stands for, and that is what Brandon Hall Group stands for."
Brandon Hall Group is a human capital management (HCM) research and advisory services firm that provides insights around key performance areas, including Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management.
